Helen Bailey SOPRANO
Middlesbrough-born soprano, Helen Bailey, is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music Opera Course, Trinity College of Music, and Liverpool John Moores University.
Recent operatic roles include Véronique (Le Docteur Miracle, PopUp Opera), Pamina (The Magic Flute, Ryedale Festival Opera), Elisetta (The Secret Marriage, British Youth Opera), and Rosina (La Vera Costanza, Royal Academy Opera, cond. Trevor Pinnock CBE). Helen has also sung principal roles for Hampstead Garden Opera, OperaUpClose, Blackheath Halls Opera, and Bath Festival Opera.
Equally at home on the concert platform as the stage, Helen performs regularly in recitals, oratorios, and at private functions. She has twice appeared as soprano soloist in the New Year's Eve Operetta gala at St. Martin in the Fields, created and performed in a recital tour entitled 'The Seven Ages of Woman', and is a regular soloist with Botley Choral Society, Bromley Oecumenical Singers, and Sutton Valence Choral Society.
